Potent and Accessible

Psychedelic Cannabis for Healing and Empowerment

Few people realize that cannabis sativa, our humble little plant ally, is a potent psychedelic plant medicine with so much to offer for psychedelic newcomers and experienced travelers alike.

When engaged with the appropriate mindset, setting and skill, cannabis can produce states that resemble the effects of psilocybin, MDMA, LSD, and even Ayahuasca. At the same time, cannabis experiences are characterized by a gentleness and sense of agency that allows for greater accessibility, and perhaps even greater effectiveness in terms of how well we are able to fully receive and integrate these big experiences.

The capacity of cannabis to produce deep psychedelic states becomes especially apparent when combined with the power of intentional breathing.

Herein lies the magic of cannabis, as well as perhaps her greatest teaching:

Cannabis shows us that the most powerful tool we have to affect our own experience — and therefore the reality we create for ourselves — is the state of our own consciousness.

Cannabis will meet you at the level of consciousness you bring to the experience. In so doing, she will mirror back your own creator power. She will show you the power of your intention, your perspective, and your openness to learning.

If you engage with cannabis in an unconscious way — with the intention to numb out and temporarily escape fully facing, feeling, and experiencing yourself and your life — she will do that for you.

If you engage with cannabis in a conscious way — with the intention to more fully experience everything that is yours to face and feel in this moment, to heal yourself and reveal deeper truths so that you can show up more fully present, awake, alive, turned on, and empowered to create the life you want and unleash your Soulful Impact — she will do that for you, too.

If you relate to cannabis as a drug, she will act like a drug.

If you relate to cannabis as a sacred plant ally, she will act like a sacred plant ally. She will connect you to the wisdom of the plant realm and help you open your heart, body, mind and soul to receive the nourishment and healing power of Mother Earth.

If you relate to cannabis as a soul guide, she will lead you toward experiencing and embodying your soul’s highest purpose in this lifetime.

Honor the Seasons

With Nature Medicine

We do these ceremonies seasonally as a way of honoring the wisdom of nature and inviting that wisdom into our lives.

We’ll explore the archetypal energies associated with our planet’s seasonal journey around the sun. We’ll find new insights, empowerment and healing by learning how to tune ourselves and our lives into greater harmony with the cycles and patterns of nature.

We’ll also engage with the wisdom of our bodies and breath — our embodied Nature Medicine — to remember our deeper truth and create the results that we seek in our lives.

Cultivate Your Gifts

Through Creative Self-Expression

Just like any Soulful Impact program or retreat, these ceremonies are a space to practice our 5-step cyclical process for creating Soulful Impact in your life:

  1. Adopt an Empowered Creator Mindset

  2. Turn Toward What You Are Running From

  3. Wake Up to Wholeness

  4. Give Your Gift

  5. Repeat

And these ceremonies are a particularly fun place to play with #4: Give Your Gift. The medicine space supports us beautifully in moving through Steps #1-3, landing us in our wholeness with open access to our creativity and joy.

Of course, every ceremony is different. But something we are always paying attention to is how we can welcome and invite the gifts of our participants into the room.

This can take many different forms, from sharing a song to reading a poem, offering a prayer, contributing ceremonial items to the community altar, or simply showing up and fully engaging with breath, movement and sound. It all contributes beautifully to the ceremonial space we create together!

Wherever you are on your journey, we warmly invite you to come to these ceremonies and to bring, express, and/or discover the next layer of your soul’s gifts.

What to Expect

When you register for a Bud & Breath ceremony, we’ll make sure you are fully prepared and have everything you need for a robust and meaningful experience.

Prior experience with psychedelic journey work is not required.

It is also not required for you to have a positive or existing relationship with cannabis. Many people who join these ceremonies are either cannabis newcomers or have had a mixed or negative relationship with cannabis in the past. The vast majority of the time, these folks leave feeling deeply grateful for the opportunity to turn a new page and come into right relationship with this plant ally thanks to this supportive and intentional container.

Our preparation process for these ceremonies includes but is not limited to:

  • A psychedelic safety questionnaire to ensure this is an appropriate setting to fit your needs (and a full refund if we decide that it is not)

  • An overview of the 5-step cyclical practice of Soulful Impact and how to apply it in this setting

  • Basic guidance and principles of psychedelic cannabis and the circular breathing technique we use

  • Guidance on how to create a psychedelic cannabis blend

  • Resources to support intention setting and integration

  • A list of what to bring for your ceremony experience, whether in person or virtual

  • For in person ceremonies: Free sober rides to and from any location within the town of Carbondale (including to public transit) + the option to rent a room to stay overnight at the event venue
